Digital Marketing Upskilling

Course Type:  Business Skills Training

Purpose:  Train marketers to help increase sales via digital channels, optimize media spend and increase data skills to accelerate insight gathering and decision making.

Learner Audience:  Practitioner marketers responsible for brand performance including digital campaigns and managing agency relationships

Client:  US based Fortune 500 Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company with global locations

Method of Instruction:  5 day in-person training program conducted in USA and globally

Delivery Date: This program was delivered multiple times in 2019

My Role:

  • Work with internal project team and client sponsor to understand specific learning needs and skills gap

  • Conduct 3-4 deep dive interviews with select participants to understand their role, pain points and challenges in their day-to-day responsibilities

  • Onboard instructor (SME) to client context and content to be delivered

  • Develop high-level program design (in Google slides).  This includes program content, industry specific case studies and practical application to participants roles.  

  • Present high-level design to client sponsor for sign-off

  • Develop detailed design program (in Google slides).  This includes designing job aids and any additional materials needed.

  • Conduct dry-run with instructors and answer content specific questions

  • Attend in-person delivery to observe and assist instructors while in the classroom

Learning Objectives

Created a quality learning experience by writing clear objectives using Bloom’s Taxonomy, held brainstorming sessions with internal/client teams and continuously refined objectives for each module of content and for the overall program.
