Introduction to Process Mapping

COURSE TYPE:  BUSINESS SKILL TRAINING

Purpose:  Upon completion of 21 weeks in-classroom training, the young adults (age 18-24) of this organization pursue internships with corporate partners.  By providing a suite of online learning tools, the young adults are able to continue their learning outside of the classroom and acquire new skills that are related to their internship assignments.

My Role:

  • Instructional design – created storyboard, wrote script, recorded voiceover, designed course content and visual elements
  • Project management – created project plan and ensured that project was completed timely and within budget

Voiceover

Recorded voiceover as a way to explain what the basic process mapping symbols are and how to use them.

 
 
 

STORYTELLING

Used creative storytelling as a way to engage learners and teach the concept of why process mapping is an important activity for businesses to participate in. 

 

QUIZZING TOOLS

Implemented multiple choice quizzes to assess learner knowledge and retention of content learned.
